1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate Yea-Nay:

• Email address — when you join our waitlist.
• Name, email address, and message — when you submit our contact form.
• Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard access logs, including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. These logs are used solely for security and operational purposes.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party behavioral analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Waitlist email — to notify you when early access opens and to send occasional product updates. We will not send marketing unrelated to Yea-Nay.
• Contact form data — to read and respond to your inquiry. We do not use your contact message for any other purpose.
• Server logs — to diagnose technical issues, prevent abuse, and maintain service availability.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service:

• Vercel — hosts this website and processes server access logs.
• Railway — hosts our API server where waitlist and contact submissions are stored.

Both providers are contractually obligated to keep your data confidential and use it only to provide their services.

4. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Your browser may store session-level data as part of normal web browsing, but we do not set any first-party tracking cookies and we have not integrated any third-party cookie-based tools.

5. Data Retention

• Waitlist emails — retained until the product launches publicly or until you request removal, whichever comes first.
• Contact form submissions — retained for up to 2 years for reference, then deleted.
• Server logs — retained for up to 90 days as required for security monitoring.

6. Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you may request:

• Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion — removal of your data from our systems.
• Correction — an update to any inaccurate information.
• Opt-out — to stop receiving emails from us at any time by contacting us directly.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

Yea-Nay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Yea-Nay after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
